The Pubnet® Order Wizard (POW) is a web interface that provides a logical alternative to costly EDI implementation for booksellers, publishers, wholesalers and distributors who wish to utilize EDI.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technology has proven to increase efficiency in the supply chains of those few who could afford it. Now, Pubnet offers those who have not implemented EDI technology, a functional EDI module -- POW!

Features include:

  • Sending/ Receiving Purchase Orders (POs) 850
  • Sending/ Receiving Purchase Order Acknowledgments (POAs) 855: a response to the PO including the status of each item (i.e. In stock, on backorder, out of print)
  • Sending/ Receiving Advance Ship Notice (ASNs) 856: gives information as to what is being sent in a shipment
  • Sending/ Receiving Invoices 810: an electronic invoice to bill for products
  • Sending/ Receiving Functional Acknowledgments 997: Acknowledges the receipt of each document
  • Capabilities to printing packing slips and shipping labels (suppliers only).
