Pubnet/PubEasy Hires Seán O’Neill as Canadian Sales Executive

New Providence, N.J. – November 2, 2005 – Pubnet® and PubEasy, supply chain companies of Bowker, the world’s leading provider of bibliographic information, has hired Seán O’Neill as their new Canadian Sales Executive. Mr. O’Neill is responsible for managing and developing book publisher accounts for new and existing customers in the Canadian market, including managing relationships with large retail chains, technology vendors and industry organizations.

“We are excited to add Seán to the Pubnet/PubEasy team,” said Gary Aiello, Executive VP and GM of Publisher/Retail Business at Bowker, the parent company of Pubnet and PubEasy. “His rich experience in sales, inventory management and customer service will serve us well working with publishers and retailers in the Canadian market in conjunction with our partner, Booknet Canada.”

Mr. O’Neill is a publishing industry veteran. As Customer Focus Manager at Harcourt Canada, he was responsible for the Customer Service Department including streamlining internal procedures. He also served as Harcourt’s Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada, which included responsibility for imported products. He began his career as a Sales Representative for McGraw-Hill Ryerson. He received a Diploma in Human Resources Management at Durham College and is currently pursuing his BA in Psychology at Athabaska University.

Mr. O’Neill currently resides in Georgetown, Ontario with his wife and daughter.
